Q: Is the Frequent Fitness Program Free?
A: Yes.
Q: I'm not a graduate or professional student at OSU. Can I participate in the FFP?
A: Not a this time. We certainly encourage you to develop healthy habits and applaud your efforts.
Q: It is past the first week of the month and I forgot to enter my miles last month. Can I still enter them?
A: Yes, however you won't be elgible for the special prize drawing for last month since it has already taken place. If you need to enter miles for another month, you'll need to contact us--we're working on the details for this.
Q: Do I have to use RPAC?
A: No, you can run in the park or perform your fitness activities where ever you choose. You don't have to use campuse facilities. However, RPAC is a state of the art facility offering fitness, strength training, and many more interesting activities.
Q: I like to exercize for 45 minutes and the chart shows 30 minutes. What do I do?
A: Scale your miles accordingly. For example 45 minutes of Jogging is 4.5 miles (30 minutes is 3 miles and half of 30 minutes would be 15 minutes so half of 3 is 1.5. Then add 3+1.5 and get 4.5 miles. )
Q: So how do I pick up my prize?
A: First you select your prize from the website and print your confirmation page, and bring it to the CGS or IPC office in rooms 208 or 205 in the Ohio Union to pick up your prize between 9-3 on the designated dates. The dates will be announced over e-mail, on the website, and on your printed confirmation page.
Q: Where does the money come from for this program?
A: Student Impact Grants and ongoing funding from groups like CGS and IPC.
Q: Who organizes this program?
A: CGS and IPC. FFP was modeled after a similar program from Washington University.
Q: I would like to be involved with the organization of FFP. What can I do?
